Zeta Lupi, a yellow giant, forms the southern-most point in the asterism. It's southwest of alpha two binocular fields: binoculars.
Zeta Lupi is a binocular double (DUN 176): 3.5, 6.7; 252º, 71.2".
About three degrees south of zeta is the open cluster NGC 5822, several dozen 10th magnitude stars and over a hundred fainters stars spread over a large field.
